The first one was exercising more frequently and intensely than I normally do. This was prompted by wanting to lose weight; I recently heard someone say they gained “the COVID 19” (akin to “the freshman 15” in college) and I did the exact same thing, almost down to the pound.
Lately, it’s been bothering me more, because my “bigger size” clothing is starting to feel tight and uncomfortable and I miss my body of 10-15 pounds ago. I’ve been trying to get into a more consistent routine with exercising and this week I finally did it — only, as my Fitbit keeps scolding me — I over did it.
It didn’t seem like that much in the moment, or anything that I wouldn’t have been able to handle a couple of years ago: On Sunday I took a Power Yoga class, on Monday I went for a 20-minute run, on Tuesday I took a dance class, on Wednesday I rested and skipped exercising because my Fitbit warned me I was in danger of overtraining, and on Thursday morning I took another dance class.
And then everything fell apart.
